Job Purpose
As part of the Financial Crime Prevention team, the primary responsibility of this individual will be to ensure effective and timely completion of all CDD/KYC reviews and processes for both new and/or existing business relationships.
Your responsibilities will include...
Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:
Conduct Customer Due Diligence/Know Your Customer (CDD/KYC) processes (onboarding and periodic reviews) in line with regulatory requirements
Ensure the timely processing of name screening alerts and event-driven reviews
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to 1st line of defence (1LOD) on KYC processes
Act as the central escalation point for internal and external KYC matters, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
Liaise with 2LOD/Financial Crime Prevention to clarify issues and escalate where necessary, including proposing appropriate solutions
Prepare and support management information (MI) reporting, including ad hoc analysis
Maintain and continuously enhance CDD/KYC processes and procedures
What we are looking for…
Proven experience in CDD/KYC roles within investment management or investment banking
Good understanding of UK and European anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, including German AML requirements and AIFMD
KYC subject matter expert (SME) with hands-on experience in end-to-end KYC processes and knowledge of a wide range of corporate/entity structures
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with key stakeholders at all levels and drive positive outcomes
with a high level of attention to detail Experience in preparing management information (MI) and presentations, with excellent accuracy and a strong sense of accountability with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work with urgency, effectively prioritise tasks, and manage tight deadlines
Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken, with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
